Drew Blythe Barrymore (born February 22, 1975)[1] is an American actress director, producer, talk show host and writer. She belongs to the Barrymore acting family. She has received many nominations and awards, including a Golden Globe Award as well as an Screen Actors Guild Award. There were also nominations for seven Emmy Awards, and a British Academy Film Award. She received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2004.Barrymore became famous as a child actor when she starred in her breakthrough part in E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. She published Little Girl Lost after a highly publicized childhood filled with drug and alcohol abuse. 1 She was in numerous films that became popular during the 1990s and 2000s, including Charlie's Angels. Barrymore was the co-star along with Adam Sandler on three films, The Wedding Singer and 50 First Dates. Other films she's starred in include Firestarter and Donnie Darko. Her debut as a director, Whip It, also included her. Grey Gardens was her first film. She received a Screen Actors Guild Award, as well as an Golden Globe Award. She was the main character in Netflix's Santa Clarita Diet. She is currently hosting The Drew Barrymore Show, the talk-show that is syndicated.
