
Sara Aliza Eisen (American television journalist) is currently a part of CNBC. She is the co-anchor on the channel's programs 'Squawkon the Street', as well as Closing Bell'. She's an Ohio native, and wasn't keen on markets or currencies during her time in college. While she was studying at New York University, she completed an internship at an online start-up called ForexTV.com. She gained her first experience in business news from this job. The Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University gave her a master's degree in broadcast journalism. After that, she did a 4-month stint with Bloomberg TV in Hong Kong. She returned to the USA and joined Bloomberg's New York office. She became a TV anchor later. In December 2013 she was employed by CNBC as the correspondent. Before she was hired as a correspondent on "Closing Bell', she was a co-anchor on 'Worldwide Exchange and 'Power Lunch'. Eisen is co-anchoring "Squawk on the Street" since 2014. Her main focus since the time she joined CNBC has been global news for consumers.
