Karla Camila Cabello Estrabao, also known as Camila Cabello, was born on March 3, 1997, in Coj mar, Havana, Cuba. She is a Cuban-American actress, singer, and songwriter, with her name pronounced as "ca-meela ca-beyo". Cabello rose to fame as a member of the girl group Fifth Harmony, where she established herself as a solo artist. She collaborated with Shawn Mendes on "I Know What You Did Last Summer" and Machine Gun Kelly on "Bad Things", with the latter reaching number four on the US Billboard Hot 100. She left the group in 2016 and released her debut solo single "Crying in the Club".
